How can I arrange to tour the center?
We offer tours daily from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Call the office to arrange a tour.

How do I register?

After deciding to enroll at Creative Beginnings, come to the office and pay a registration fee and a deposit. Both fees are non-refundable if you decide, at a later date, not to start. You will receive registration materials which need to be completed prior to your child's starting date.

Can I visit my child at the center?
Parents have unlimited access to their child's classroom. Other visitors must register at the office and be accompanied by staff throughout the building.

Can anyone else pick up my child?
Only with your permission. Staff will ask to see permission and identification for any non-parent or guardian who comes to pick up a child.

How do I know if Creative Beginnings is closed due to inclement weather?
All Creative Beginnings classes will close when Patuxent River NAS closes for inclement weather.

Part Time Preschool (not kindergarten) will close when public schools close.

Kindergarten and Part Time Preschool will open at the usual time when public schools have delayed openings.

Listen to local radio stations for delayed openings. Generally, when inclement weather makes driving dangerous, Creative Beginnings will delay opening until 8:15 AM to give staff time to arrive safely at the center.

When does Creative Beginnings close for Holidays?
New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday, President’s Day, Spring Teacher’s Conference, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, Christmas Day
