School Year
Town Creek Elementary, Father Andrew White and Little Flower Looking out at the CAP playground, one is reminded of an old fashioned neighborhood. Children of all ages are playing together. Some are playing pick-up games of soccer or basketball. There is a group in the back corner sweeping the ground with leaves and polishing acorns to improve their "fort." Two children are swinging. Some are playing 4-square. The black top area is full of pogo sticks, stilts, and children jumping rope and singing. Girls and boys are sitting on the concrete benches playing chess and checkers. One or two children are just watching and unwinding. No one is home alone. No one is watching TV. CAP is absolutely the best place for your child to spend his after school time.
What does a working parent do when schools are closed? Creative Beginnings is there for you. Our CAP program is open when school is out in the summer. Fair day, in-service, Christmas break, spring break and most of the other numerous public and private school vacations are day care days at Creative Beginnings. Because we follow Patuxent River weather emergency closings, we are rarely closed for bad weather. We are open when there is late entry and early dismissal. CAP is a stable environment each and every day for your child.
CAP is located next to the main building in the annex. Annex number is (301) 863-8370.
